Scientific ServicesI offer consulting in several areas of science as well as scientific editing. I also offer courses in various aspects of modelling, such as ecological modelling and fuzzy systems theory. D. in Theoretical Physics (Brown University, 1965) and have been working in oceanography and marine ecology since the late 1970's. At present I am a Senior Research Fellow in DAA (Departamento de Ambiente Aquático = Department of Aquatic Environment) at IPIMAR (Instituto de Investigação das Pescas e do Mar = Portuguese Institute for Fisheries and Sea Research) and am a fellow (Sócio) of the Centre for Marine Sciences at the University of the Algarve.
