This site is maintained by William Silvert as a subset of his own site. This section of the site deals with issues related to ecological modelling.

There is also a page of links to other sites related to ecological modelling.

During the "semana do Caloiro" at the Universidade do Algarve, 5-9 November 2001, I gave a course on ecological modelling. The course was supplemented with a series of PowerPoint presentations and a few spreadsheet models.

There is a mailing list associated with this site, to join click here or send a blank message to modelling-subscribe@topica.com - you will then receive information on how to use the list. There is an associated web page for the mailing list as well at http://www.topica.com/lists/modelling.

A new list is being set up specifically to deal with the modelling of Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs). This is not yet active, but you can join by clicking here or by sending a blank message to hab-subscribe@topica.com.
